HISTORY
SKALA, SKRADIN (SCARDONA)
Skradin, once known as Scardona, is one of the oldest Croatian cities.
Scardona had long been home to the ancient Illyrians, later becoming a crucial Roman trading centre of the Province Dalmatia, to which it owes its name.
Over the ages, it was ruled by various rulers, including the Venetians, leaving behind a captivating
history for visitors to explore in modern-day Dalmatia, Croatia.
